Boards by the Numbers Activation (Vista Version)

 
Activation of Boards by the Numbers:  The first time you run the program, you will be required to activate it.  The activation process is very intuitive.  Just read the screens and follow the instructions. Note: On some systems you may see the following screen first.  Just click on Yes.
Note: If you get an error about "You must have administrator Privaleges", you did not complete Step 5 on the download page (setting the program to run in compatability mode). You must do this before clicking on the Launch Boards icon.


 

      1. Make sure your are connected to the internet.
      1. Double click the Launch Boards icon        . 

        This will display the Protection System Dialog Box:

  1. Type in your serial number from your original e-mail. You may include or not include the dashes(-). Check the number to be certain it is correct and again make sure your Internet connection is active.  Click the Activate button.
  2. If successful, you will see the following dialog box.After you get a confirmation that the activation was successful, you no longer require Internet connection when you use the program.

However, every time you launch Boards, you will see a Protection System screen (as below).  Do not click activate again.   Just click OK and Boards by the Numbers will launch.  This screen displays the number of days you have remaining on your 365 day subscription.  DO NOT click on the Activate button.   Your serial number is only valid for one activation and will therefor no longer function.

Note when your license has expired (365 days from your activation).  Uninstall the entire program as it will no longer function.  If you need to continue using Boards by the Numbers, please purchase the latest annual version at our web site.  You will need to purchase, download, install and activate your new version again.  Make sure you uninstall Boards older version before installing the new one.
